How to Build a Dust-Free Production Line for Pesticide SC Suspension Agent? A Comprehensive Guide from Raw Material Feeding to Filling
Pesticide suspension concentrates (SC) are rapidly replacing traditional emulsifiable concentrates and becoming the mainstream formulation in the industry. However, the production of suspension concentrates is not straightforward—it requires
stable fineness, controlled temperature, consistent batches, and an increasingly unavoidable requirement: **clean workshops.**. **
Environmental inspections are becoming increasingly stringent, making it harder to recruit workers. Dust-filled workshops are struggling to sustain operations. More and more pesticide companies are considering whether they can establish a
production line free of dust, from raw material input to filling?
The answer is: Yes. Rucca Technology has established mature end-to-end solutions and numerous implemented cases in the field of pesticide SC suspensions. This article clearly explains the core configuration and logic of this line in one go.
1. Three Major Pain Points of Traditional Suspension Agent Production Lines
Before discussing the solution, let's first identify the issues with the traditional production line
High dust levels. Pesticide raw materials and fillers are mostly in powder form. Manual bag opening and feeding cause dust to fly, not only polluting the workshop environment but also leading to material loss and affecting workers' health.
Slow wetting and heavy grinding burden. Traditional high-speed dispersers have limited shear force, resulting in insufficient powder wetting. A large number of agglomerates directly enter the sand mill, leading to multiple grinding passes, prolonged
processing time, and high power consumption.

The fineness and temperature are unstable. Prolonged operation of the sand mill causes temperature rise, leading to the degradation of active pesticide ingredients; fluctuations in fineness between batches affect suspension rate and efficacy.
These three issues actually point to the same solution path: ensuring proper pre-dispersion, achieving precise grinding, and integrating the entire production line.
2、 Core configuration of Rucca SC suspension agent dust-free production line
Step 1: IDS inline dispersing system – dust-free feeding, source disaggregation
The starting point of this line is the Rujia IDS online decentralized system.
IDS adopts vacuum negative pressure sealed powder suction, and the powder is transported in a closed manner from the bag to the system, resulting in zero dust and zero material waste in the workshop. The powder is instantly sheared, dispersed, and soaked upon entering the cavity, eliminating "fish eyes" and secondary agglomeration from the source.
The value of this step lies in solving the agglomerates that originally needed to be repeatedly ground by a bead mill in advance during the pre dispersion stage.
Step 2: DF series horizontal bead mill – series classification, stable fineness
The pre dispersed slurry enters the DF series horizontal bead mill. The DF series adopts a pin type high-energy density structure with high grinding efficiency, which can stably grind the suspension slurry to below 5 μ m, narrow particle size
distribution, and good batch consistency.
For large-scale production, Rucca recommends a graded grinding scheme with 2 or more units connected in series: the first stage coarse grinding disperses large particles, and the second stage fine grinding controls the final fineness. After
clear division of labor, each equipment operates under optimal conditions, and the overall production capacity of the line is doubled.
In terms of temperature control, the DF series is equipped with an internal and external dual cooling system – dual channel heat exchange between the outer wall of the grinding chamber and the inner rotor. Tested on the DF100 production line of
Yancheng Limin Agrochemical: The suspension agent is continuously ground, and the temperature is controlled within 28 degrees throughout the entire process, far below the decomposition risk temperature of pesticide active ingredients.
Step 3: Rear system – dilution, filtration, filling
The ground slurry enters the subsequent process: dilution, filtration, and filling. This part can be configured according to customer production capacity and automation requirements, seamlessly integrated with front-end equipment, forming a
complete closed-loop from feeding to finished products.
3、 Whole line delivery, rather than individual machine assembly
Suspension agent production is not the responsibility of a bead mill, but a complete production line from feeding, dispersion, grinding to dilution, filtration, and filling.
Many suppliers in the industry come to an end after selling their equipment, and customers need to solve how to string the production line and match the process themselves. Rucca specializes in delivering the entire production line: from process
design, equipment configuration to installation and commissioning, all in one stop. The materials are first sampled and verified in the laboratory, and the process is confirmed before scaling up to mass production. The parameters can be translated;
Fully enclosed and automated pipelines, both labor-saving and more stable.
At present, Rucca has provided SC suspension agent production line delivery services for many well-known agricultural chemical enterprises such as Yancheng Limin, Anhui Shengdan, and Jiangxi Zhengbang, covering new production lines and old
line renovations.
4、 What can this plan bring?
Workshop dust-free: IDS sealed powder suction, solving dust problems from the source, environmentally compliant
Fineness stability: DF series graded grinding, stable below 5 μ m, consistent batch
Temperature controllable: dual cooling inside and outside, measured within 28 degrees, protecting effective ingredients
Efficiency improvement: sufficient pre dispersion, reducing the number of grinding passes in the later stage by 30% -50%, and synchronously reducing energy consumption
Whole line worry free: one-stop delivery from design to debugging, no need for multi head docking
The core logic of the dust-free production line for pesticide SC suspension agent is to use IDS for pre dispersion, use DF series for precision grinding, and then string the entire line together for delivery.
If your suspension production line is still worried about dust, fineness, and temperature, please feel free to contact Rujia. We can provide a complete line solution from process design to installation and commissioning based on your production
